My Little Daredevil

Emma never ceases to amaze me. She has done everything much sooner than Jessica and Brayden did. Sitting up, standing, crawling...she was walking at 8.5 months!! I was really hoping to keep her a baby alot longer than this. But she refuses to slow down. So, here she is, hasn't even had her first birthday yet, but she's climbing the bookcase!! She did make it all the way up and laid down, but she didn't stay long enough for me to snap a picture.

And while I'm going on about Emma let me show you her temper. I blame this on Chris!

Family Day!

Today has been a nice day. We don't see much of Chris because he works such long hours, and on the weekends he and Daddy are working on the house. Well, Daddy's out of town this weekend, and we've had so much rain the ground around the house was really muddy. So, he took the day off and spent it with us. The whole day!! And we did absolutely nothing...laid around all day. Let me tell you, it was great!

We did go for a short ride down on the "little truck", as Brayden calls it. It's actually a Polaris Ranger, and it's tons of fun! I took this picture. Not exactly a masterpiece, but nice enough. I took it with my little point and shoot. It's a great little camera, but definately not by 'baby'. I don't usually take my DSLR when we go trail riding though because it's so dusty.

We have siding!!

It finally looks like we're getting somewhere on our house. One thing after another has slowed us down, and I was beginning to think we were never going to get done. Over the last two months we've gotten the heating and air in, the electric is wired, and the plumbing is done. Whooo Hooo!

Now they're working on the siding, and let me tell you, I'm excited! I can't believe how good it looks! After a bit of arguing we've decided to leave it totally natural. Just clear sealer. I let Chris have his way now...I'll get my way on the inside. :) We've set a goal to be in it by Christmas. Pray we make it!

Once again I'm out done!

I'm posting these pictures because I know I have alot of family who read this blog and want to see my children, but I'm doing so with total disgust!! While I was taking Nicole's belly shots we were in the middle of a wardrobe change and Emma was crawling all over the backdrop. I handed Chris the camera and told him to snap a few pictures. He managed to capture these two. Now, I love the pictures!! But it bugs me to no end that he can do this without even trying. It's not fair!!!

Amicalola Falls

On our way home from Hartwell a few weeks ago we decided to stop at Amicalola Falls to let the kids get out of the car for a while. If you've never been, it's a great place to stop. It's beautiful, and there are lots of places for the kids to play. There's a lodge at the top, too, which is gorgeous! We hiked up to the bottom of the falls, which is quite a hike with the kids. One day I want to go to the top, but not carrying a baby.

Jessica's First Day of School!

Jessica started Pre-K this year! I can't believe my baby has grown so fast. I swear she was just born yesterday!

She was so excited about her first day. We'd already visited her classroom and met her teacher, Ms. Sherry, so she was ready to go! And she did great! I took her in, Ms. Sherry took her to her seat, and she never looked back! I, on the other hand, did...

Caleigh Nicole! Here she is just minutes old. Isn't she just the most adorable thing ever?! She was not at all pleased with all the bright lights, and the camera flash really made her mad.

Way Behind...Again

So, as it turns out trying to take a picture every day is way to much for me. I mean, come on, my life is to chaotic. Who needs the extra stress, right!? In an effort to keep blogging I'm going to do what I want, when I want to do it. What a concept! I know everyone loves to see my little ones, and I do love showing them off.

Let me try to update what's gone on in my life since I last blogged:

We've had yet another addition to our growing family. My sister Nicole had her baby, another girl in the family. Poor Brayden; he's destined to play dress up. Caleigh Nicole was born on August 6th, with a full head of the longest, darkest hair I've ever seen on a newborn. She's absolutely gorgeous, and her Mommy says she's a very happy baby. Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever even heard her cry, other than when she first entered the world, of course.

Even though I know Nicole is going to kill me I'm going to show off her belly pics. We took these just a few days before Caleigh was born. I'm thrilled with them!
